Potato Crusted Beef Pie
3 cups of beef - cut into cubes
1 cup frozen peas and carrots
1 cup pre-made gravy
3 cups left-over mashed potatoes
1/4 cup or so melted butter
First cut your beef into bite sized pieces and remove any gristle or fat. Add the beef to a large bowl.
Microwave the gravy for a couple of minutes to loosen it up if necessary or do it on top of the stove.
Add the gravy to the beef along with the frozen vegetables and mix well.
Pour that mixture into your baking dish and top with an even layer of mashed potatoes.
Melt some butter and sprinkle over the top.
Bake in a 350° oven for about 30 minutes until the top is golden brown. Use the broiler to finish browning in the last five minutes if need be to get a nice golden crust.
