Cherry Bars
Cherry Bars
1 cup of butter softened
2 cups of sugar
4 eggs
1tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp almond extract
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp . salt
2 cans of cherry pie filling
Glaze:
1 cup of powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 tbs milk
Pre Heat Oven to 350 degrees
Cream your butter and sugar. Add eggs and extract.. beat well. Add your flour and Salt..Mix well. Spread Approx 3 cups into a greased 13 x 9.. use a bigger one if you want them to be thinner...Spread Pie Filling over the batter. Then randomly drop tablespoons of batter over the pie filling. Bake for 35 min or until your toothpick comes out clean.
