Crock Pot Brats
5 Brats
1 C. beef broth
1 C. water
1 C. beer (you can also use more broth in place of beer)
3 T. butter
1 med. onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
Place the onions and peppers in the bottom of the crock pot. Place the brats on top and add the broth, water, beer and butter. Cook on low for 4 hours. Remove the brats and grill them over med. heat until golden brown all over. Return the brats to the crock pot and keep on warm until ready to serve.
