Quick Marinara
Quick Marinara
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 T. extra virgin olive oil
2 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
2 sprigs chopped fresh oregano
Palmful fresh flat leaf parsley, chopped
1 few leaves fresh basil, torn
2 cans (28 oz. each) crushed tomatoes
Pinch ground cinnamon (for eggplant recipes only)
Cook garlic in oil with pepper flakes over medium heat until it speaks by sizzling in oil add herbs and tomatoes
and the pinch of cinnamon, if using sauce for eggplant. simmer over low heat 10 minutes.
Serves 8 to 12
