Black Forest Poke Cake
1 box of Devil's Food Cake Mix
(and ingredients called for on package)
1 Can of Cherry Pie Filling
1 Jar of Hot Fudge Sauce (I found with the ice cream toppings)
1 8 oz container of whipped topping
mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings
Make cake according to package directions in a 9 x 13 pan. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes. Then poke holes all over with the back of a wooden spoon. Place the hot fudge sauce in the microwave for 1 minute and pour over the cake, making sure to get into the holes. Spread cherry pie filling all over the top of the hot fudge sauce. Lastly, cover the top of the cherry pie filling with whipped topping and sprinkle chocolate chips or chocolate shavings on the top.
