Cinnamon Syrup
Cinnamon Syrup
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. water
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
small pinch salt
1/2 c. evaporated milk
Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, cinnamon, and salt in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 2 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
Stir in evaporated milk.
Serve warm or cold over ice cream, waffles, pancakes, cheesecake, or anything else your heart desires. Store in the refrigerator.
