Butter Cookies

Butter Cookies Yields - 48 cookies 2 cups butter, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup, packed brown sugar 2 teaspoons Vanilla Bean Paste (or vanilla extract) 4 cups all-purpose flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 6 tablespoons evaporated milk 1-2 cups sprinkles of your choice Preheat oven to 325 Line cookie sheets with parchment paper, set aside In the bowl of a stand mixer cream together butter and sugars until creamy Add in vanilla bean paste, scraping down the sides as needed Slowly add in flour, baking powder and evaporated milk until mixture just comes together Using a small cookie scoop roll dough into small balls Roll in the sprinkles of your choice Place onto prepared pan and gently press down with the back of a spoon or your hand Bake for 17-19 minutes, or until edges just begin to brown Remove and let cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes and then move to a cooling rack to cool completely Serve & ENJOY!! Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days
