Slow Cooker Sweet BBQ Chicken
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (each breast should be about 6 oz)
18 oz Sweet BBQ Sauce - we used Sweet Baby Rays sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. pepper
2 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp. onion powder
12 oz jar Peach Preserves

Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker
In a large bowl mix together remaining ingredients
Pour BBQ mixture over chicken
Cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and shreds easily
Remove chicken and shred with 2 forks
Return shredded chicken to slow cooker and toss to combine with the sauce
Continue to cook on low for 30 minutes, or until ready to serve
We served with buns for BBQ sandwiches & baked potatoes for stuffed BBQ Potatoes
*This will freeze beautifully, just make sure to let it cool down & then place in air tight freezer container, will be good for 2-3 months
