Pork Chop & Broccoli Rice Casserole
1/2 C. uncooked long grain rice
1 C. water
10.5 oz. can broccoli cheese soup
1/2 C. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
12 oz. steamable chopped broccoli, steamed according to pkg. directions and drained
3-4 bone-in pork chops
my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper...combine and store in an airtight container)
Spray a 9x9x2 baking dish with cooking spray. Add the rice to the dish. Whisk together the next 6 ingredients and pour over the rice. Put the broccoli on top of the rice mixture. Season the pork chops with a little of the house seasoning on both sides and place on top of the broccoli. Cover with tinfoil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes. Uncover the dish and continue to bake for 25 more minutes.
