Cherry Pie Egg Rolls
15 oz. can cherry pie filling
8 egg roll wrappers
water
vegetable oil for frying
powdered sugar
Take a wrapper and dampen the edges, using your finger, with water. Turn it so it's like a diamond in front of you and put 2 T. of the pie filling across the center. Take the bottom of the wrapper and fold over the filling, fold each side over and then roll up. Continue with remaining filling and wrappers. Heat 1/2 " oil in a skillet to 325 degrees. Add the egg rolls to the skillet and fry till golden on both sides, approx. 1 minute per side. Remove and drain on a cooling rack over a paper sack or paper towel lined plate. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
