Cabbage & Greens
Cabbage & Greens (approx. 2 servings)
2 T. butter
3 C. chopped cabbage
half of a small onion, sliced
1 rib celery, chopped
2 handfuls of fresh chopped kale or spinach
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. bacon grease
salt and pepper to taste
Melt the butter in a skillet over med. high heat. Add the cabbage, onion, celery, kale or spinach and oregano. Stir to combine and toss in the butter. Lower the heat to medium, cooking till veggies are to your desired tenderness. Stir in the bacon grease and salt and pepper to taste before serving.
