Simple Apple Cake

Simple Apple Cake 1 box white cake mix (yellow would work too) 4 large apples. peeled and chopped 2 T. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 C. powdered sugar 1/2 C. hot tap water 1 T. melted butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract Make the cake mix according to pkg. directions, set aside. In a microwave safe bowl add the chopped apples, brown sugar and cinnamon. Microwave for 1 minute then stir into the cake batter. Combine well and pour into a grease 9x13 glass baking dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 28-30 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes. Whisk together the last 4 ingredients till powdered sugar is dissolved. Spoon over the cake while it's still warm.
