Homemade “Magic Shell”
1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips (milk chocolate, dark, semisweet, cherry,mint, white, etc.)
3 Tbsp. coconut oil
Combine together butterscotch chips and coconut oil in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Continue in 15 second intervals until all of the butterscotch is melted. Remove and let cool. Serve on ice cream.
Notes: you can cover and store in a glass container at room temperature (NOT in the refrigerator) for up to 1 month.
