Southern Sweet Tea

Southern Sweet Tea 6 tea bags 2 C. sugar (adjust sugar to your needs and tastes) pinch of baking soda (reduces bitterness) water In a 4 quart pot, fill with water (almost to the rim) and bring to a boil. Drop in the tea bags and remove from the heat. Allow to steep for 15 minutes. Add the sugar and baking soda to a one gallon pitcher . Remove the tea bags, gently squeezing out any excess tea (discard the tea bags) and pour the tea into the pitcher. Add more water to fill to the top. Stir well and chill before serving...my husband swears it is always better the next day after making.
