Marseille-Style Shrimp Pasta
Marseille-Style Shrimp Pasta

1 portion of fettuccine
1/4 cup minced red onion
2 cloves of garlic, minced
4 large shrimp
1 tbsp of olive oil
1/3 cup of white wine
1 tbsp of tomato paste
1 tsp of smoked paprika
2 sprigs of thyme
1 tbsp of butter
2 tbsp of sour cream
salt and pepper to season
chopped parsley and extra virgin olive oil
Cook the pasta in salted water
Sweat out your onions and garlic in a pan with oil.
Sear your shrimp.
Add in the white wine. Cook it down for 3 mins. add the tomato paste and paprika. season with salt and pepper.
Take out the shrimp and thyme. Finish the sauce with butter and sour cream.
Transfer the cooked pasta into the pan. Toss together.
Plate the pasta with the shrimp, parsley, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. Enjoy
