Secret Strawberry Pie

1 baked pie shell
1 1/2 quarts of strawberries, cleaned, either sliced or whole
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 cups water
1 3-oz. box of strawberry Jell-o®

In a sauce pan, combine the sugar and cornstarch. Add the water,
stirring until the mixture is lump-free.

Cook on medium heat until thick and clear. Immediately add the
strawberry jell-o. Let the glace cool and pour it over the berries in
the shell.

Let set for about 4 hours and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
