Dirt Bombs

Dirt Bombs 2 1/4 C. self rising flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 stick unsalted butter, room temp. 3/4 C. sugar 1 large egg 1 C. whole milk Whisk together flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Using an electric mixer combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add in the egg and beat well. Slowly add in the flour mixture then add the milk, a little at a time. Once well combined pour into 12 (lightly greased) muffin tins. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove to a cooling rack. Topping Combine 1/2 C. sugar and 1 T. cinnamon Melt 4 T. unsalted butter Dip each muffin into the butter then the sugar mixture. Repeat with each muffin.
