Cheesy Flat Bread

Cheesy Flat Bread 1 loaf frozen bread dough 3 Tbsp. butter, softened 2 to 3 t. paprika 1/2 t. dried oregano 1/2 t. dried basil 1/2 t. garlic powder 1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese Allow frozen dough to thaw in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight. Pat thawed bread dough onto bottom and up the sides of a greased 14-inch pizza pan, forming a crust. Spread with butter and sprinkle with herbs. Prick the crust; then sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let rise in warm place for 30 minutes. Bake at 375 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Top with your favorite pizza sauce and toppings, and bake until heated through. Or serve as is for dipping into soup or spaghetti sauce

Mexican Bananas

Mexican Bananas 6 firm bananas 1/4 cup lemon juice 12 flour tortillas 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg 1/8 teaspoon ginger 1/4 cup evaporated milk Mix together spices and sugar. Peel bananas and cut in half lengthwise, brush with lemon juice. Place each banana half at end of tortilla, sprinkle with sugar mixture. Roll tortillas and again sprinkle top with sugar mixture after brushing the top and sides with evaporated milk. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes on a well greased cookie sheet. Remove from pan immediately and serve with hot fudge or chocolate sauce

NO-BAKE CONFECTION BALLS 2 3/4 c. crushed vanilla wafers 1 c. powdered sugar 1/4 c. melted butter 1/4 c. undiluted frozen orange juice 1 c. chopped nuts Mix all ingredients together. Form firm balls the size of walnuts and roll in powdered sugar

MILLIONAIRE CONFECTIONS 4 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1 lg. can evaporated milk 5 c. pecans halves 2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips 1 (10 oz.) jar marshmallow crème Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Combine pecans, chocolate chips and marshmallow crème in bowl; mix well. Pour into cooked mixture; mix lightly. Drop by small spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let stand until firm. Yield: 1 1/2 pounds. Enjoy

Maple Pecan Crescent Twists

Maple Pecan Crescent Twists 1/2 cup chopped pecans 3 Tbl. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 2 (8 oz.) Crescent Rolls 2 Tbl. butter, melted Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. maple extract 2 to 3 tsp. milk Heat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease large cookie sheet. In small bowl, combine pecans, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well. Separate dough into 8 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal. Brush each with butter. Sprinkle 1 Tbl. sugar-nut mixture over each rectangle, pressing in lightly. Start at long side and roll up each, pinching edges to seal. With sharp knife, cut one roll in half lengthwise, forming 2 strips. With cut side up, carefully overlap strips 2 times to form twist. Press to seal cut ends together. Place on cookie sheet. Repeat with rest of dough. Sprinkle with rest of sugar-nut mix. Bake 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes. In a small bowl, blend glaze and drizzle over warm rolls. 8 servings

German Chocolate Snacking Bar

German Chocolate Snacking Bar 4 (1 ounce) squares german sweet chocolate 1/4 cup butter 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 2 eggs 1/2 cup baking mix 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 (8 ounce) package flaked coconut 1 cup chopped pecans In a medium saucepan, melt chocolate and butter or margarine over low heat. Remove pan from heat. Stir 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk, eggs, biscuit mix, and vanilla into chocolate mixture. Spread batter evenly into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine the remaining condensed milk with the coconut; spoon evenly over batter in baking dish. Sprinkle nuts over the top; press them down firmly. Heat oven to 325 degrees . Bake for 25 minutes, or until done. Cool and cut into bars
