Mac Salad
Mac Salad
1/2 a bag of macaroni
1 Tbs. of cooking oil
1 tsp. of salt
½ red pepper (diced)
½ green pepper (diced)
2 celery stalks (diced)
3 green onions (diced)
3 large pickles (diced)
1 and ½ cups smoked ham (cubed)
1 cup marble cheese (cubed)
Dressing:
2 cups Miracle Whip
3 Tbs. Mustard
4 Tbs. Pickle juice
2 Tbs. Lemon juice
3 Tbs. Seasoned pepper or coarse pepper
3 Tbs. Seasoned salt
Boil macaroni w/ oil and salt until cooked, (Don’t overcook or your salad will be mush) drain, rinse under cold water until macaroni is cool. Then stick in fridge to chill.
Dice and cube all vegetables, ham and cheese.
Prepare all the ingredients for the dressing in a large bowl and Wisk together.
Once macaroni is nice and chilled, add half the dressing and half of the other ingredients and stir together gently. Once blended together nicely, add all the rest of the ingredients and repeat the process.
Chill your salad for another half an hour in fridge before serving
