Cake Box Cake

Cake Box Cake
To a store-bought cake mix can make a BIG difference in taste and texture.

1 (18.25-ounce) package chocolate cake mix
3 large
eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup instant cocoa mix


Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a

bundt pan.

In a bowl combine chocolate cake mix, eggs, milk, softened butter, and instant cocoa mix until well blended.

Pour into prepared pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.

Strawberry Banana Split Cake

Strawberry Banana Split Cake

2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 32 squares)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar

FILLING:
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon Spice Islands pure vanilla extract
3 large firm bananas, cut into 1/4-inch slices
2 cans (8 ounces each) crushed pineapple, drained
2 quarts fresh strawberries, sliced

TOPPING:
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1-1/2 cups chopped walnut

Combine the crumbs, butter and sugar; press into an ungreased 13-in. x
9-in. dish. Chill for 1 hour.

In a bowl, cream butter, confectioners' sugar, milk and vanilla.
Spread over crust; chill for 30 minutes. Layer with bananas, pineapple
and strawberries.

In a small bowl, beat cream until soft peaks form. Add confectioners'
sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Spread over fruit. Sprinkle with
nuts. Chill until serving

Butterscotch Dip

Butterscotch Dip

This is so yummy,I have to post it,,,,

2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk
2 packages (11 ounces each) butterscotch chips
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Apple slices

In a heavy saucepan over low heat, combine milk, chips, vinegar and
cinnamon. Cook and stir until smooth. Serve warm with apples. Leftover
sauce may be reheated in a heavy saucepan over low heat

QUICK PIZZA STICKS

QUICK PIZZA STICKS

1 can Ready pizza crust
1 Tb. Margarine or butter; melted
1/2 c. Provolone cheese; shredded
1 Tb. Grated Romano cheese
1 ts. Dried basil leaves
1/4 ts. Garlic powder
1/4 ts. Cayenne pepper (optional)

Heat oven to 425. Lightly grease large cookie sheet. Remove dough from can; unroll onto greased cookie sheet, forming 12x9" rectangle.
Brush dough with margarine.

In small bowl, combine provolone and romano, basil, garlic powder and ground red pepper; mix well. Sprinkle evenly over dough. With pizza cutter or knife, cut dough crosswise into 12, 1" wide strips. Cut rectangle in half lengthwise, forming 24 strips. Do not separate.

Bake for 10-13 minutes or until golden brown. To separate, recut along perforations. Serve immediately. If desired, serve with warm pizza sauce

Mozzarella Potatoes

Mozzarella Potatoes

4-5 potatoes, peeled
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs
salt and pepper
8-12 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

Slice potatoes lengthwise into quarters. Rinse potatoes in cold water and pat dry. Salt and pepper slices; toss in olive oil and then in breadcrumbs. Place on a cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until browned. Remove from oven and top slices with shredded mozzarella cheese. Return to oven until cheese melts

Strawberry Dream Cake

Strawberry Dream Cake

1 (18.25 ounce) box white cake mix
1/2 cups sweetened pureed strawberries
12 ounces cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) bar white baking chocolate
1 cup heavy cream
1 (8 ounce) tub whipped topping
sliced fresh strawberries

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease two 9 inch round cake pans.

Make cake per directions except substitute
the 1 1/2 cups of strawberries
for the water & add 1 extra egg, (if cake mix calls for 2 eggs add 3),
and 8 ounces of the cream cheese at room temperature.
Beat well and pour into the prepared pans.

Bake at 350 degrees
for about 20 to 25 minutes or
until golden brown. A toothpick inserted in the center will not
come out clean when this cake is done since it is so moist.
Let cake cool fully before frosting.

To Make Frosting: Heat the heavy cream until just beginning to boil.
Pour it over the white chocolate (chopped)
and the remaining 4 ounces cream cheese.
Mix well and let cool.
Once cool fold into the whipped topping.
Use to frost cooled cake and garnish with sliced fresh strawberries
