PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE PRETZEL CRUSTED BROWNIES
To start grab your brownie mix. I used Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Brownie mix, but any mix sized to make an 8×8 pan of brownies will work. I especially like Ghirardelli because I really think it is the best tasting mix out there.(HEHEHE)
Dress up a brownie mix in 10 minutes to make these gourmet Peanut Butter Pretzel Crusted Brownies.
Prepare the mix per the instructions on the box. Grease an 8×8 pan and pour the batter in.
Next drop 1/4-1/2 cup of peanut butter in dollops evenly across the top of the brownies. I probably had about 15 drops of peanut butter in my pan.
Place the brownies into a preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and use a knife to swirl the softened peanut butter throughout the brownies. Then take 3/4 cup of pretzel crumbs {easiest way to make crumbs here} sprinkle them over the top of the brownies evenly. Then sprinkle 1/2 cup of chocolate chips over everything. Press the toppings lightly into the brownie batter with your hands and return to the oven.
Cook for 30-40 more minutes or until just set. Make sure not to over cook these to keep them super dense and fudgy!
