Crawfish Cornbread
Crawfish Cornbread
1 1/2 cups Self Rising Cornmeal
1 small can Green Chilis
1 cup Buttermilk
1 can Cream Style Corn
1 cup Pepper Jack Cornbread (shredded)
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 pound Cooked Crawfish
In a bowl, mix cornmeal, green chilis, buttermilk, cheese, melted butter, cream-style corn
Cook Crawfish in a skillet with butter
Add Crawfish to the cornbread batter mixture and mix in, then pour batter into a preheated buttered cast iron skillet
Then bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes till done.
