Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole
about 3/4 of an lb of spaghetti
12 slices of smoked maple bacon, cut into pieces
1 chopped onion
about 1/2 lb sliced pepperoni
18 cherry tomatoes, cut in half
2 cups of meat sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 green pepper, cut into rings
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar and mozzarella mixture
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain.
In another saucepan, cook the bacon over medium heat, 2 to 3 minutes, until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
In the same pot, cook the onion, pepperoni, and cherry tomatoes for 2 minutes.
Pour in the meat sauce and bring to a boil.
Add the pasta. Season with salt and pepper and stir.
Transference preparation to a baking plate. Garnish with pepper rings, bacon, and cheese. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Set the oven to the “broil” position and brown for 1 to 2 minutes.
