CHEESY GARLIC BREAD

CHEESY GARLIC BREAD 1 loaf French Bread Fresh from the bakery 1 Tablespoon olive oil 4-6 cloves fresh garlic 1 tablespoon, finely minced (use a garlic press) 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted, real cream butter, room temperature 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shredded 1 tablespoon dried parsley 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/8 teaspoon paprika 1/8 teaspoon onion powder 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 1 1/4 cups mozzarella freshly grated 1/2 cup Colby jack freshly grated Fresh parsley for garnish Preheat oven to 400.F degrees. Evenly cut french bread in half, lengthwise and place on foil-lined baking sheet. Set aside. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil. Once the oil is heated, add garlic and sautee JUST until garlic is fragrant. (be careful not to burn) Place cooked garlic (including any remaining oil) in a large bowl. Stir in soft butter, parmesan cheese, parsley, Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper. Spread garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of bread. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake for 10 minutes or until butter has melted into the bread. Remove from oven and remove foil. Evenly sprinkle on mozzarella and Colby jack cheese. Return to oven uncovered and bake until cheese has melted (about 6-7 minutes) Broil for the last couple of minutes to crisp up the edges if desired (keep an eye on the bread while it's broiling. It can burn fast!) Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Slice and serve hot.
