Cajun Dirty Rice
1 Pound Large Shrimp
1 Pound Ground Pork
3 Cups Chicken Stock
1 1/2 Cups Long Grain Rice (brown or white)
1/4 Cup Sliced Green Onions
1 Bay Leaf
1 TBSP Olive Oil
1 Chopped Medium Onion
1 Bell Pepper (green or red)
2 Ribs Of Celery
2 Cloves of Galic (minced)
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Dried Garlic
1/2 tsp Thyme
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
Cook sausage, onion, bell pepper garlic, and spices in a skillet with a little bit of olive oil
Then add your rice and fry it in dry
Then add your Chicken Stock
Cook for about 13-15 minutes with a lid over low heat, then add shrimp and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes (till shrimp are done)
This is the quickest, easiest recipe you could even imagine.
