Country Cornbread Dressing
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped bell pepper
1/2 cup butter
1 8x8 pan of cornbread, crumbled
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp poultry seasoning
2 tsp sage
salt and pepper to taste
Heat oven to 350F.
Saute vegetables in butter until tender.
Mix all remaining ingredients in a bowl. Add vegetables and butter to the bowl and toss until the cornbread is moistened.
Place mixture in a prepared 8x8 dish and bake for 40-45 minutes.
