Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmeal

Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmeal 2 cups old fashioned oats 3 1/2 cups water 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter 1/4 cup fruit spread jam, or jelly In a medium size saucepan, bring the oats, water and salt to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes, until the oats are soft and chewy. Remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter until it is melted and combined with the oatmeal. Place the jelly in a small bowl or cup and stir with a spoon until it is smooth and pourable. Drizzle the jelly over the oatmeal just before serving. Enjoy! Notes I used a natural fruit spread. If you are using a traditional jelly, you might want to reduce the amount slightly to avoid making the oatmeal too sweet.
