WHIPPED HONEY GOAT CHEESE CROSTINI WITH SIMPLE STRAWBERRY SAUCE

WHIPPED HONEY GOAT CHEESE CROSTINI WITH SIMPLE STRAWBERRY SAUCE 4 oz goat cheese [honey or regular] 8 large frozen ripe strawberries sweetener of your choice [sugar, honey, agave, stevia, etc...] to taste a pinch of salt 6-8 slices of baguette, lightly toasted a few spoonfuls of your favorite honey basil for garnishing [totally optional] Pre-heat oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees F. Add your goat cheese to a food processor or blender and whip for a few minutes until fluffy and spreadable. Next microwave your strawberries 2 minutes on high. You can also whip this up on the stove top in about 5-6 minutes so. Choose the method that works best for you! Sweeten the berries to taste, add a pinch of salt to amplify flavors, and whisk with a fork as it bubbles and thickens for about 2-3 minutes. Once your oven is ready, toast your crostini until crispy and golden. Spread each toast with whipped goat cheese and top with a hearty drizzle of honey. Add a spoonful of strawberry sauce on top an garnish with a sprig of basil.
