Cheesy Garlic Bread Yummy
1 loaf of French bread, split in half lengthwise
2 tbsp. butter, finely melted
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried parsley
2 oz grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
Preheat oven to 400
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a small bowl combine melted butter, garlic and parsley
Using a pastry brush, brush butter mixture onto each side of the bread
Put bread back together and wrap loaf in foil and place on prepared pan
Bake for 15 minutes
Remove and unwrap from foil, placing each half cut side up on the prepared pan
Top each side with cheese
For crispy bread, turn on broiler and broil open faced, for 3-4 minutes or until cheese melts and the edges begin to brown
For softer bread return cheese topped bread to oven and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until cheese melts, leave the loaf open faced once cheese is on the bread
Remove from oven, cut & serve
